Is the first official gospel hip hop artist to step on the scene . His album I Long For is buzzing not only inside the church , but also outside the church in some secular circles .  A young man who has mastered relating everyday living to the word of God and then translates it into song . In reading his bible , he would find himself throughout its pages . Finding emotions , answers to a problem , or whatever it was , in life, wherever he was , he always turned to the bible for a fresh word from God for his life . And it ultimately led him to finding his lyric ( hence the name ) . So in essence , Jason's Lyric is really the bible , but related through his life and what he walks through . Then he applies it to hip hop music and speaks those very findings to melodic beats . You will find his album I Long For creatively genius . Melodic beats combined with the groans of Jason's Lyric sets the tone for this album as he cries out to Jesus Christ to come and get him . I guess only time will tell if Jesus Christ really hears the cries of Jason's Lyric .
